Our thermostatic valves are controlled by elements that open and close at different temperatures based on the expansion of special thermostatic waxes.
Values for use in ‘standard’ situations use elements made of brass and bronze. Those intended for use with seawater, synthetic oil or ammonia-contaminated oil are made from special alloys.
Depending on the customer’s needs, valve bodies can be made of various materials – cast iron, SG (Spheroidal Graphite) iron, aluminium, steel, stainless steel, bronze, low-temperature carbon steel and/or duplex steel.
Thermoreg Thermostatic Valves
Thermoregs thermostatic control valve prevents dangerously high output temperature regardless of input and outlet variations and demand variations.
If there is a failure in the cold water supply for any reason, the sensor will efficiently and rapidly stop the flow of hot water to prevent scalding. If a failure occurs in the hot water supply, the sensor will also shut down the flow of cold water to avoid thermal shock. Any spike in temperature, whether hot or cold, will be addressed instantly.
To keep prices down and delivery times as short as possible, we keep a large range of valve castings and part machined valves in stock.
The products illustrated below are typical of those we offer. Variants are available to suit almost every requirement. Please contact us for full details.
